Zylinc recently became the first Danish provider to be certified for Skype for Business 2015 for Attendant Console and Contact Center.
The Skype for Business App Certification Program is designed to offer Microsoft customers the added assurance of third-party solutions that have demonstrated a high-quality experience and compatibility when deployed with Skype for Business.
Only products that pass Microsoft’s specifications outlined in the Skype for Business Certification Program can be associated with this designation, so customers can expect that Skype for Business App Certified solutions have been validated against specific test cases regarding core functionality, interoperability, performance, and scalability within Skype for Business topologies.
I asked Zylinc’s Solution Architect Glenn Jørgensen what he feels about the certifications, and how he thinks they’re going to help our partners and customers:
“I’m tremendously proud of the certifications, which by the way will last for as long as we keep our solutions up-to-date and compatible with Skype for Business topologies. Our Skype for Business-certified solutions can now be found via the Skype for Business App Catalog, complete with the distinct certification program badge, and that really helps us stand out from the crowd,” says Glenn.
He continues: “I know how much work our developers and testers have put into achieving the stability, interoperability, and scalability required to pass the tough certification validations, and I’m so proud on their behalf too. Certification is a long and tough process, so it’s a major achievement for us. Now it’s important that we don’t rest on our laurels, so that we can keep our certifications.”
“Most of all, however,” Glenn says, “I’m happy for our partners and customers, who now have assurance from the most authoritative source, Microsoft themselves, that Zylinc’s certified products live up to Microsoft’s tough criteria, and that our products have demonstrated a high-quality experience based on specific test cases that have been validated to ensure that they meet Microsoft’s quality requirements.”
