The Danish division of international enterprise ABB has implemented a whole range of Zylinc solutions, including Zylinc Mobile Agent, mobile presence, calendar integration, and statistics.
In Denmark, IT Project Engineer Finn Nøhr has the technical responsibility for ABB´s phone systems and for the daily operation of the company’s IT systems.
“We greatly appreciate the overall solution that Zylinc has integrated into our phone systems. We have so many departments throughout the country, and our server is based in Germany, so it hasn’t been an easy assignment, but it has all worked out to our satisfaction,” says Finn Nøhr.
“We have a good solution that works. It’s actually a great credit to the system that you hardly notice it—it’s just there, and it works impeccably. It’s also appreciated by the employees. Our Zylinc solution is fully integrated with our company’s phone systems. Again, it’s just there, and it works perfectly.”
Nøhr even has personal favorite: “Personally, I appreciate the group call functionality. It’s so easy and quick to call numbers that you, for example, find registered in an e-mail. It’s really impressive, and it’s a more elegant way to access data than for all databases to include a phone number field.”
ABB are so content that they consider expanding their unified communications solution with a Zylinc call center solution: “I mean … It would be an ideal solution, for example for our sales office,” Finn Nøhr says.
